I have been using Wordfence, a free tool, for many years, but it still wasn’t protecting my site effectively. I found it limited because it blocked visitors from random countries, which affected my traffic. There was no way to adjust these settings or block visitors from my own country. Additionally, I started receiving a lot of bot attempts to log into my site, and Wordfence didn’t seem to stop these attempts, which was concerning.

While searching for alternatives, I came across WP Login and decided to give it a try. I asked the owners a few questions, and they were very friendly and quickly addressed my concerns! This tool has been fantastic for my website so far; the bot login attempts have dramatically reduced. I appreciate the customizable security options for the login, allowing me to choose the level of security I want.

WP Login also has the option to avoid blocking countries visiting my site, limiting restrictions to just the login page, which is exactly what I needed! I plan to budget for Tier 3 at the end of April, as I've already spent my tool budget for March :) I highly recommend this tool for anyone managing WordPress sites. It's underrated and offers fantastic features! I hope they add some extra security features in the future, like a malware/virus scanner, etc.
