Great app that I use daily
Been using this wonderful little chat app for about 6 months now, and after some growing pains I can see where it excels at. The developer is responsive (reach them using the in app feedback tool) Couldn't find charla chat widget in the app itself, but thats okay.
Pros:
- The live chat feature is functional and generally reliable.
- The knowledge base (KB) system is quite robust and allows for brand-free embedding.
- The developer has significantly reduced the app's package size from 700kb to 250kb in a recent update, which is a welcome improvement.
- The live monitoring feature includes user identity detection.
- It includes a ticket system.
- The app supports multiple domains.
Cons:
- The live monitoring feature freezes, amd is generally unreliable when compared to similar tools on the market often requiring a manual browser refresh.
- Many have ask if we can add an optional "ding" sound when a new user visit. Might get too much but its a nice to have.
- Monitoring user activity status sometimes remains "active" long after users have left the site.
- There are some noticeable UI/UX issues that can be frustrating. I hope these will be addressed in future updates.
- The ticket system currently lacks a form! You can probably use the API and create your own form, but the docs are very clear on this, and the API is under developed.
- The API could benefit from improvements. It can be difficult to work with due to its complexity and a lack of comprehensive documentation, even for experienced developers.
Overall, this has been a worthwhile lifetime deal. I rate it 5 out of 5 and hope to see further development focused on platform stability and resource optimization. Congrats!

Great on-site webchat widget covering multiple channels.
What I like about Charla is a clean dashboard, and the ability to cherry-pick your customers wandering your website, sending them a message at the right moment. Ticketing system, mobile app, tons of features for the bot and unlimited messages. I might be not the most experienced user of such widgets, but I'm sure that's a great deal here!
Charla's team have just released a live AI translations, and even though I don't exactly need this feature, that sounds huge anyway.

Same problem as previous AppSumo Plus: I too am an AppSumo Plus member; my AppSumo deal wasn't activated on my account! No awesome support, No support at all!! I signed up through the portal, but my AppSumo deal wasn't activated on my account yet. Sent support email, yesterday, but no response!! We will be refunding for a lack of service if we don't get this resolved today!! Gave 1 taco but would have given zero if zero was an option!
