Q: I get error below:Consent too late. I assume having GA4 installed through WP Site Kit is cause?

GCM verification failed - Consent set too late - This error occurs when other tags are read/fired before the default consent is set.

There is a WP Google Plugin called Site Kit where my GA4 is set up outside of GTM. I assume this is the issue with CookiePal. It can't control consent unless GA4 is set up in GTM as well, correct?

Q: I tried to upload a custom logo but I am not able to. This will cover up the CookiePal logo on the banner right?

Any idea why uploading my custom logo is not working? I have small images but does the image size have to be even smaller? What are the pixel measurements?

Q: You Wordpress Plugin doesn't seem to be up to date with the newest Wordpress Version.

How often do you update the plugin? I will have to install with code for now.

A: Thanks for the heads-up!

We usually update the WordPress plugin as needed when WordPress releases major updates. That said, if it’s showing as outdated, we’ll double-check with the dev team and make sure it’s aligned with the latest version.

Feel free to install it manually for now and we’ll confirm the update timeline early next week!

A: Great question!

We have a soft limit of 4,000 pages scanned per domain per month, but it’s not hard-capped. If you have a good reason to go beyond that (like a huge site or special case), just reach out and we’re happy to extend it.

As for deleting a domain to reset the limit: technically, yes, you can do that, but it’s not the smartest move. You’d lose all your historical data and settings....

Q: Compatible with WP plugin Elementor?

My sites run on Wordpress with the Elementor plug-in. Does CookiePal work well parallel to Elementor?

A: Hi there!

Yes, Cookiepal works great with WordPress and the Elementor plugin ✅

Even better: we offer an official Cookiepal WordPress plugin, which makes setup super easy, no need to manually edit your site’s code. Just install the plugin, add your site ID, and you're good to go.

It’s fully compatible with Elementor and won’t interfere with your design or functionality.

Need help setting it...
