I needed an online testing platform with a bank of tests that I can use with my online students, and Gappeo delivered. Not only can you select from a variety of assessments and combine them (up to 5) into one, but you can create your own, with your own questions as well. Gappeo also has great customer service and offers online meetings for training.

No one can argue the importance of such tool for any business owner but it's missing important features.

Their invitation emails cannot be fully customised. For example, they keep Goppeo social media links in the signature section of the email and you can't edit it.

The email header image cannot be changed, and shouts Gappeo.

The assessment landing page has a spotlight image as if something is broken, and again, you cannot customise anything.

You cannot set the change or extend the time of the Gappeo pre-built test.

Couldn't find any help resources. Even their support page is just a form with no option to chat or a way to follow up on your support tickets.

On top of that, most links on their AppSumo page are not working. For example, roadmap link leads to an empty trello board and the request a demo is a broken freshdesk link.

Everything makes me feel that the product is not getting enough care and attention

I am keeping the tool for now till I see how their team will respond to the above.

I must admit that I purchased this product a few months ago and have not yet been able to fully learn its capabilities. I received an email for the Maji, to schedule a demo call, and I can honestly say that, being a busy entrepreneur, time is the most valuable capital we have, and after spending about a half an hour with Maji, he was extremely informative and was able to provide answers regarding cabilities that I didn't know to have.

I strongly recommend that if you are looking for a great product and even better customer service, you should purchase Gappeo, you would not regret.

We love what we are able to do with Gappeo and how much it has helped us with our candidate assessment process. We also plan to use it for staff competency assessments going forward. This is such a useful tool for talent acquisition and talent development too. We are very pleased with this lifetime deal!

While this software definitely has room for improvement, I still feel its worth 5 tacos. I read another review on here that said the questions as basic. That is true. While the pre-built tests include a combination of easy/medium/hard difficulties, I don't know how accurate those different levels are. But I think that is what you get with pre-built tests.

I however, did not buy this deal for the pre-built tests, I bought it for the ability to create my own. Here, I think Gappeo has a good system. Each test question can be either multiple choice or essay. The question editor is easy to use, and offers a lot of formatting options. You can include a link to a PDF that the applicant can open, or you can add pictures into the questions as well. The questions I want to create are more open ended. I want to see if the applicant can find issues. So being able to add the picture, and have the application list out the issues they find, is exactly what I was looking for.

Overall, I am very happy with this purchase, and wish the devs the best of luck!
