Hello,

Does Letterly able to combine notes and ideas, if recorded separately, or detect groups to stock on?

Thank you,

A: Hey! Super easy — just go to account.letterly.app, remove one of your devices, and that will free up space for a new one. Just make sure you're logged in so you don't lose your notes :)

Q: Why would I get Letterly if I already have ChatGPT doing all this?

Hey there,

I came across Letterly on AppSumo and it looks pretty cool. That said, I’ve already built a custom setup using ChatGPT that handles all these tasks for me—rewriting, professional tone, faster drafting, etc.—and it works across all my devices (web, iOS, Mac).

So I’m genuinely curious:
What would make Letterly a better option for someone like me who already has a smooth, personalized workflow with ChatGPT?
Is there something unique or game-changing that sets it apart?

Appreciate your thoughts!

A: Hey, Raul! Yes, definitely — there are some important differences.

ChatGPT is primarily a chat. And if it works well for your use cases, that’s great!

Letterly, on the other hand, is fully focused on voice. It’s built to make it as easy and seamless as possible for people to take notes, write messages, journal, or even create social media posts — all by speaking.

You’re out on a morning run,...

Q: My own voice?

Hi, I’m kind of lost…
So if I’m going to take notes out my ideas together, etc.

I don’t see an option to train AI in voice to write a post, paper.. in my voice.
Seems to be a drawback. Is this planned for future update?

Thanks

A: Hey! Great question. There are actually two ways to achieve “your voice” in Letterly.
First, you're already capturing your natural tone and style just by turning your speech into text — it reflects how you speak.
Second, it's about teaching the AI to write exactly the way you like. You can do that by using our preset rewrite options that match your taste, or by creating a custom rewrite option...
