I’m on Tier 2 and already getting a ton of value from Paperguide. I haven’t fully explored every feature yet, but what I’ve seen so far is solid, especially for research-heavy work, academic writing, or any content that needs credible sources.

What makes Paperguide stand out:

Onboarding and learning curve:
It took me a little time to figure out how to use Paperguide. The interface can feel a bit daunting at first, but even without scheduling the onboarding call (included from Tier 2 and up), I still managed to get the hang of it. I’ve been really busy and haven’t had as much time as I’d like to explore it ,and yet it still clicked. That says a lot about the usability once you dive in.

Also worth noting: their support team seems great, and the Discord group is active. If you need guidance, help is just a message away.

Coming soon:
What I’m especially excited about is the Deep Research Report feature launching soon. Tier 2 users will get 50 reports/month, and if it works as well as I hope, I may no longer need my other deep analysis tool.

The only thing I’d still love to see: transparency about which AI model is generating your results. That would really help with understanding output quality and consistency.

Final thoughts:
Paperguide already complements the other research tools I use, and with its current trajectory, it may end up replacing them. For a lifetime deal, this is outstanding value.

I haven't used it to a thorough extent yet, so take this with a grain of salt.

But what I have seen so far has been quite thorough and accurate for responses, very intuitive and easy to use, and completely suitable for casual use. I have several options like this now from appsumo, and while I like all of them for specific purposes, if I had to choose just one I think it would be this one.

Not sure the plans for the future, but adding a perplexity style web search or even just a basic chat with AI function could entice more casual users to sign up later. I'm sure there's plenty already here however for the scholarly user.

Top 5 purchase for me so far, really good execution and seems to know how to make a slick product.

I have just started using it for my research, and wow, I am blown away. It is really insightful. It gives me the top 10 research papers, and you can load more if some are not right. It can then summarise them and pull out key points. I wish I had found this earlier. I was hesitant to buy it as I thought it "not another AI platform ", but I am glad I did. This is not another AI; this is your research partner.

My only suggestion, as a Brazilian user, is the hope that the interface will soon be available in Brazilian Portuguese, which would make Paperguide even more accessible to students and researchers across the country.
