-does this work and generate presentations in Google slides? -can we customize the presentation look and feel; colors, images, fonts etc before for a brand before we generate anything? -When do you plan to add charts based on data?
• Correct, this works and generates presentations in Google Slides. This is one of our main output types but you can also export in PPTX or PDF.
• Yes, you essentially can build you own presentation template with style, look, feel and design. Next you add in parameters as follows: {{first name}}, {{last name}} etc. These parameters will be replaced using the data from your data...
Not yet, but we're actually testing scheduling and triggering logic to make it automated to create new presentations (for example when you're capturing data on your website or in a form into a sheet that gets updated when a new record is created).
Currently it needs to be done manually and we understand that's a pain point for our users!
Thank you for testing out SlideFill and asking your question. We currently do not have an API available but we're working on one as well as incorporating the most used form software to directly push data to SlideFill and allow users to send email via SMTP the moment a new record is created from your form or web app.
It would be wonderful if you could let me know which form software...
Well, all my usecases all involve using an automation platform "N8N" which is a make/zapier opensource alternative as well as building forms within my own apps, so my version of 'pushing the data' to Slidefill and other places will primarily involve catching JSON API calls.
But if were voting for popular form apps, I think that tally.so is amazing :)
Super clear, thank you for the feedback. We're working on webhooks and an API to make this possible. Our first next iteration will contains multiple new integrations and the goal is from there to launch the webhooks and API so technical users can link more of their favorite tools while we add additional input and output sources over time.
Thank you for letting us know! We're adding multiple form systems to our roadmap, so this information is super helpful to guide us where to prioritize!
Q: Individual Profiles
I am a therapist and coach. I have my clients complete a 25 sheet Excel Spreadsheet to quickly collect data. The 26th page is a collection of bar graphs of the formula-driven outcomes for each sheet. I then summarize the findings into target areas based on those outcomes. My Question: Is it possible for SlideFill to automatically create a unique presentation specific to each client? If so, is there training on how to do that?
Yes this would be possible in the case the unique presentation needs programmatic text based data to be added to the presentation. Are you looking to customize each presentation with personalized text or graphs? We currently do not support graphs but are close to launching this feature. For text and images, this would be possible today.
In theory you would need both seperate accounts. That said, happy to provide a license for your pleasure use case in exchange for some feedback so we can improve our product.
Feel free to reach via our help page and we can talk offline!

Q: automatic generation
Will SlideFill automatically generate the presentation whenever a new row of data is added to Google Sheets? Or does it have to be done manually?

Q: API
Hello...
Does Slidefill have any API / Webhook functionality?
I'd love the ability to populate the dynamic fields from a webapp or form outside of your app. Also send completed presentations onwards....
Thanks

Another idea is to have an option to populate the forms with Query parameters in a unique url, for dynamic data...... for example:
https://www.slidefill.com/template1?name=john&company=google&image1=server.com/image1.png
Thanks!

Really appreciate these ideas!

JotForm is my favorite.

Q: Mixing business and pleasure?
We have a business use case which would be used by one or two of our staff members with our business google account.
I also have a personal use case would want to use with my personal Google account.
Is it possible to do this in a way that our staff would not see what I am working on? Or would need multiple SlideFill accounts?
Thanks!
