Excellent tool for screen recording, with incredibly useful features such as speech transcription and the ability to rewind and re-record from any point. The unlimited hosting service is outstanding.
There are only two downsides, but one is quite limiting:

Each recording has a time limit of one hour.

It doesn't work on smartphones, even though the advertising claimed otherwise. This was the main reason I decided to purchase it; I even contacted support to resolve the issue, but they replied that they don't guarantee functionality on mobile devices and don't offer assistance for that.
It's a shame, because if they managed to make Vento work on mobile devices, it would definitely deserve 5 tacos.

I don't often write reviews, but this product has exceeded all expectations. I had to take a moment to stop and express how useful the Vento tool is. The ability to record, edit, and then continue recording is a significant time-saver compared to other video tools. Add on the ease of sharing, and it makes collaboration smooth, simple, fast, and easy.

Perhaps its just my high expectations and the fact I already own half a dozen screen recorders.
Ability to pause and go back and re-record last part of video is what makes it different from other screen recorders. Otherwise recorder is very basic and I would love to see more functionality. For example, annotation tool needs some work. It is unintuitive and I'd want it to be hidden until I need to use it. Also I'd want camera window to be more adjustable - not just resizable rectangle but other forms, too - circle, square etc. Also possibility to record just part of creen would be nice. And those are just basic things many other recorders have.
But I will keep the tool to see how it develops as it good priced.
