Q: Do I Understand Correctly: Forento Top Tier is Unavailable to Sumolings?

On your website I see the Basic Plan for $19/month (which corresponds to AppSumo codes 1,3, and 5) and the Start Plan for $49/month (which corresponds to AppSumo codes 2,4, and 6).

But you also have a higher plan, Scale, which is $149/month and doesn't seem to have any AppSumo option. Which means that offering bundles, course dripping, and multiple community channels are all unavailable to Sumolings at any cost or sales percentage. Is that right?

A: Hey!

You're absolutely right that the Scale plan isn’t available as a lifetime deal. However, it is offered as an exclusive add-on to all AppSumo lifetime deal users for just $49 per month instead of the regular $149 per month. That’s a $100 per month discount, and it unlocks everything Forento has to offer, including bundles, course dripping, multiple community channels, certificates, manual...

Q: Custom Product Page Link

Hi Forento team, is there a feature to have a custom product page link? For example, when I set up a membership, the sales page link is generically generated as https://mycourse123.forento.app/memberships/1xxx. Could I setup the page link as https://mycourse123.forento.app/memberships/MasterMind ?

Thank you.

A: Hey!

I hope you're doing well, and thank you for the question.

It's currently not possible to customize the product page URL slug, so you won't be able to change the link to something like /memberships/MasterMind. However, you can connect your own custom domain to replace the "mycourse123.forento.app" part of the URL.

Q: Code stacking question

It appears we get 3 admin accounts when two or more codes are purchased. Except when you buy 5 codes, it says you only get 1 admin account. Is that a typo? That's the level where your commission goes from 5% to 2%

A: Hey ObserverOnThePlanet, thank you for the question.

Yes, you get three team member seats (admin seats) on any Start plan. The Start plans are two, four or six codes, while the Basic plans are one, three or five codes. You can see a full description of the different codes in the From the Founders post above.

A: Hey, thank you for the question.

Yes, the sales commission fees (2–10%) are automatically built into the payment gateways that Forento supports, which are PayPal and Stripe. This means the commission is deducted at the time of each sale, and the remaining funds go directly to your connected Stripe or PayPal account.

At the moment, Forento does not act as a payment processor ourselves, so we...
