Q: How do I add bank accounts?

Does this sync to my accounts, or is it just the different bank statements I can upload?

Q: Limits

Hi there,

I was reading a review and in one of your replies, you had mentioned that you can upload statements from 2024 and onward. Do your AI doesn't work for previous years or can't take the date from the statement and add it to the appropriate year?

Additionally, if I save up all my uploading to do at the end of the year, and upload 400 invoices why on tier 2 does this mean it will only take up to 300 invoices max? Or does your AI look at the months of the statements and account for each month?

Q: I’m a bit confused. 2 questions…

I purchased tier 2 and saw what you wrote on this thread:

“Regarding tier limits, you can process statements from 2024 onward with Smart Clerk subscriptions. If you have a substantial amount of historical data that you would like to process, that is possible as well, but it will incur a small one-time fee. Please contact us if you have such a requirement”.

1. My accounts go form September 2023 to September 2024. They don’t need to be filed yet. . Are you saying I need to purchase a subscription to get September October November December 2023 added on top of tier 2? It’s probably only 20 pages of data for those months.

2. Will I still be able to use this software after 2024? Ie. Is it lifetime?

Please can you clarify.

Thank you.

Q: Pricing strategy by bank and year

I understand you need to earn money and also what I'm wondering if pricing by year and bank is what its actually about?
Some people might have 1M transactions in single account in one year while others might have 500 transaction spread over 10 banks and 5 years.
And the actual cost isn't the years or the banks but the amount of transactions.

I much prefer to pay 1 cent per transaction and then its perfectly categorized instead of needing to worry about years and banks.

Currently I'd be paying for a deal that gives me 2024/2025 which really is a fully arbitrary/artificial limit that I would say does not relate to your actual cost and in my case doesn't actually help me.

So my suggestion: make a tier that is transaction based, allow for CSV import and focus on making the most perfect categorization ever and you'll only have rave reviews
