Can you help me validate my use case, finding leads (students) interested in technical courses; say, DotNET. Do you think its a valid use case that can be implemented using SocLeads?
Hi, I'm having a lot of issues with your search filters and can this be resolved? The location seems to be picked up randomly. If I put Canada, it can pick someone up from Taiwan and even posting in a different language altogether. Apart from that, I can get data extracted from 2017 which may not be relevant so there's no timestamp filter that I can pick for posts or keywords or content that's within last week or month or 6 months. Do you plan to add that? I am still trying your software but as good as it looks, the results will take me more effort to clean because most of them are irrelevant with a limitation of 2 keywords per search. I want to hold on to my purchase but I'm finding it harder to convince myself to stay put here.
Can you help me out here and can we expect this to be solved?
A: Location filters on social media can sometimes be inaccurate due to how data is provided. For more precise results for location, use the Google Maps scraper.
We’re actively working on improving this, and we’ll let you know as soon as it's fixed.
Q: Socleads requires extra inputs that generate costs?
How does your software handle IP bans or rate limiting? What solutions do you provide to ensure a smooth scraping process without interruptions?
What are the expected costs associated with using proxies or IPs in conjunction with your software? Are these costs included in the overall pricing, or are they separate expenses?
Are there recommended providers for proxies that integrate well with your solution? Can you offer any insights on the best options based on your experience?
What support do you offer for managing these additional expenses? Are there best practices you recommend for optimizing costs while using your software?
A: SocLeads doesn’t require any proxies or additional inputs that generate extra costs. Everything is handled on our side, so you won’t need to worry about IP bans, rate limiting, or setting up proxy infrastructure. This means there are no hidden or separate expenses — everything is included in your plan.
A: Thanks for your question — at the moment, importing a list of profiles to scrape from isn’t available. SocLeads is designed to scrape data based on keywords, scanning all relevant posts and profiles
A: In some cases, the country filter can return inaccurate results due to how social platforms provide location data. We recommend using Google Maps for more precise targeting. We're actively working on improving this.
As for 404 page — thanks for pointing that out! We’re on it and will get those issues sorted shortly.

Q: Country filter fix?
I am testing the trial version and love the concept but I see a few issues.
1. The country filter is basically useless because it gathers results from India, Italy, etc even though I put United States
2. Basically none of the emails have a name with them. Can this be fixed?
3. The how it works page leads to a 404 error
