It can forward, as long as the business/contact information is same for both pages (shown in the footer of forwarded page), and the recipients will not be confused.
I have a pre-sales question about Emailit's Terms of Service related to my use case.
I plan to run my own mail server through Cloudron, which only supports receiving emails by default and requires a third-party SMTP for sending. I own a domain name that I want to use for personal email, but I don’t have a live website associated with it.
I noticed that Emailit's ToS states a live website is required for any domain configured with Emailit's SMTP. Does this requirement apply only to email marketing campaigns, or does it also pertain to my use case? I’m NOT going to run a marketing campaigns from that particular domain name.
We do require a running website on the sending domain, because it improves the deliverability. So it is in your own interest to have at least a simple website on the sending domain to ensure that your emails do not end up in spam.
Hi George, I think Cloudron do support email sent out... I am hosting all my emails on a VPS with Cloudron running.
Q: Dashboard Credits Question
Thanks for coming to AppSumo!
I bought Tier 5, and I am logged in and looking at my usage screen. I see there it says I bought Tier 5 with 1,000,000 / monthly. But two lines above it there is this:
"Email Credits Your current email credits state. = 1000"
Those are our normal email credits, as AppSumo is a special deal. Email credits you can always purchase directly from us and in your case would be used if you would go over your monthly quota.
Yes, it is correct. You will see your Tier license, and below it, you will see our normal Email credits that you can purchase directly from us even after the AppSumo offer ends. You can find more about our standard pricing here: https://emailit.com/pricing
Q: Overage pricing, dedicated IP...
Hi there, we send around 1,600,000 messages per month. Could you clarify if the 1M limit on the deal is a hard cap, or do you offer an overage pricing option for Sumolings? Also, do you provide a dedicated IP add-on, and if so, what’s the pricing? Finally, we typically see hourly peaks of 3,000 to 5,000 messages — could you share any limits or throttling policies that might affect that volume? Thanks!
once you would go over your monthly Tier quota, you would need our normal email credits, as shown in the pricing here: https://emailit.com/pricing
We do offer dedicated IP on yearly basis $300/yearly per IP. But we are running a limited time offer on our discord for last 6 IPs. More info you can find here: https://discord.com/channels/1217780028834840658/1288098174778605592/1347634076995031142
Hourly peaks of 3000-5000 are ok. All new customers have a rate limit of 1000/h, once you send your first 10000 emails, we can review your workspace and increase it based on the sending stats.
Q: Domain forwarded
What is i want to use a domain email to send emails but the domain itself forwards to another one. Would it count as a website?

This is also the reason why it is mandatory.

So in theory, if I have a simple “Website Is Coming Soon…” landing page, I’m good to go?

Sure, just add a footer on how to contact you, ideally, Business name if any, contact person, and email.
